Our creative process is sectioned in eight (8) fundamental stages, starting with an inspiration and ending with the collection ready to go for sale. For a better understanding on how we develop our products, such processes are briefly described down below.
Before any collection we make, we choose a theme, an inspiration that will guide our decisions during the process of making the collection.
After knowing what inspires us to create, we start making deep research about our chosen subject. Books, museums, city tours, notes from everyday talks with people or even the internet can become a good source for an enviable bank of research.
After knowing what inspires us to create, we start making deep research about our chosen subject. Books, museums, city tours, notes from everyday talks with people or even the internet can become a good source for an enviable bank of research.
Immediately upon holding a strong research basis, we begin exploring it. That is to say, we experiment with collages, compositions with different media, illustration and/or photography. All that could provide flourishing of new ideas is endorsed.
Thereafter a process of drawing a myriad of sketches commences. Different looks, with diverse combinations of prints and shapes are drawn on our muse for the collection.
Subsequently drawing different possibilities of looks and garment ideas, we also make our own textiles. Embroidery, patterns, hand paint, foam, anything is allowed.
Upon having some sketches and textile ideas, we can now begin working on the stand. We drape, do pattern making and test if our ideas work or not in real garments.
At this stage, all of our ideas, textiles, and toiles go through a process of evolution. We make decisions, make changes, adapt, eliminate and approve certain styles and garments.
Finally, succeeding all of the experimentation of ideas and making process, a fresh new collection is born. Ready to be carefully manufactured and go for sale.
