Whether you are an institution looking to share more knowledge with your students, or you are a student seeking to apply for courses abroad or do your final collection, you can book Caroline Perino’s Fashion expertise for:
Some of the following have already been subject of lectures, workshops and classes:
"Portfolio Techniques”, "International Fashion Experiences”, "The Fashion Industry”, “Creating Textiles”, “Illustration Techniques” and many more.
Caroline has lectured and held workshops in some of the most prestigious institutions in Brazil including SENAC, FEEVALE and ESPM. Her work ignited an instant spark in the students and was highly praised by the course directors of the institutions.
Sharing knowledge has always been a part of the brand ethos. We believe that by sharing what we know, we can aid others in achieving their own dreams, and that is something that excites us to do more each day. Caroline has a passion for transmitting her knowledge accumulated through years of experience, therefore teaching has become a part of Perino's regular activities.
Creating a portfolio may seem like a daunting task at first, but it becomes easier once you learn the basic principles of it and how to adapt it to your own style. Portfolios are an important part of making a collection, for it helps keep a record of your own process, and you can always go back to make new changes as you progress.
Throughout the years, Caroline worked in many projects and made a vast quantity of portfolios, building her belief that creating them is an art in itself. Thus, when on lectures, the designer presents and teaches the details that should be put inside of it.
You do not need to be a professional illustrator to illustrate. But you do need to have your own style, and it is always a good idea to be bold about it and utilize different mediums and techniques to develop one. Students are encouraged to embrace the unknown, learning how to sketch and draw to properly showcase their ideas to a chosen public.
In addition, Caroline Perino has had classes with the worldwide recognized illustrator Richard Kilroy, whose art has been exhibited by Christian Dior, Paul Smith and the Selfridges, to mention a few.
There are no rules to make your own textile, it is a process of exploring new ideas through fabric, colour, shape, embellishments… Creating from zero and/or working on a plain fabric is another excellent possibility, being capable of dying, hand painting or even knitting your own fabric. One of Caroline’s particular strengths is making her own textiles for the brand which always allows for an innovative touch in our products.
Many students are yet unaware of how to behave with a mannequin in front of them. Each fabric behaves in particular ways on the stand, and the only way to find out how a collection is going to look like, is by manipulating the fabric.
If the student is introduced to the mannequin, he/she then becomes fearless to try new things, incorporating new techniques through time, or developing his own, it is a process of trial and error, just as everything else in life.
“What I learned through the eye of the designer while I worked with her transformed and evolved myself as a professional and I will take it for the rest of my career. Quality and meticulous care allied to an artistic and creative vision are the definition of what is making part of the CAROLINE PERINO team.”

“The talk with Caroline Perino inspired me on how my dream of establishing my own brand can come true and what are the important things that I should take care of, regarding my brand unity, signature style, the importance of networking and how my CV and portfolio should be as a designer. My dream is to establish my own brand, so it was very inspiring to know her story.”

"Caroline Perino's talent is impressive. We received her contact through the BA Design direction department at ESPM/Sul(university). At the time, willing to approximate the Fashion Designer to the Fashion Design students through a inaugural class. From the beginning of her personal portfolio presentation, it was possible to notice that Caroline is that rare kind of Fashion professional that brings together the conceptual with the technical expertise, the research with the innovation, the will to show results with the persistence to build them. Her trajectory in Fashion promises, and the workshop she ministered at ESPM was very praised by the students!"
